Outstanding. Had to dice up sliced baby swiss for this. Doubled the recipe and increased the garlic. FABULOUS and easy. Made tonight with salmon and grilled veggies. Easily 5 stars.

Loved this recipe! I melted the butter in my boiling pan while orzo was draining, sauteed the garlic (used four cloves), mushrooms (8 oz) & crushed red pepper then added the orzo, some frozen peas, mozzarella cheese (had no swiss) & a handful of Parmesan cheese. This was DELISH. DH loved it. This is a keeper.. thanx for a great recipe!

Delicious! I doubled the recipe and sauteed the garlic and mushrooms with a small onion in the butter, I didn't use the microwave at all, I also added in about 1 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes, this was very good, thanks for sharing bmc!
