I have my brother to thank for this recipe. To my astonishment he's become quite the adventuresome cook. Be forewarned this is extremely rich although there are several changes that could be made to make it lower in fat. But it's awfully good, just the thing for that special breakfast!

SERVES 8 (change servings and units)

    Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

    LIBERALLY butter a 9 by 13 glass pan.

    Line the botom and the sides with sliced swiss cheese.

    Add a layer of green onions to cover the cheese.

    Sprinkle on chervil or parsley.

    Make 8 equally spaced dents in the onions to hold the eggs.

    Crack eggs into dents.

    Add cream to desired depth. Do not cover eggs entirely.
