I thought it was a little heavy, but everyone else LOVED it. I used this sauce with other meatballs (already had in freezer). I'm gratefull to have a simple recipe using common ingredients that makes the guys so happy. Thanks Pamma

This was so good it was gone before I could even get a picture. Just the right amount of sweet and sour. I did cook mine in the crockpot which helped to thicken the sauce just the right amount. I also added a teaspoon of liquid smoke to give it the outdoor flavor we were looking for at our family bar-b-q. Thanks Pamma for an easy and great tasting appetizer. Edited to add, this is the 2nd time I've made this at the special request of DGS and almost didn't get a picture again - but was able to catch some before he finsihed them off.

These were really good!! teh only difference I did was to bake the meatballs at 350 for 20 minutes instead of frying them. But they turned out great and so did the sauce. We served this over rice with green beans on the side for a really good meal. Thanks for sharing! I'm sure I will be making these again.

I have to admit that when I took a good look at the ingredients and saw so much ketchup and brown sugar that I was a little worried. I even tasted the sauce before it simmered, and thought it was way sweet. But after simmering with the meatballs it wasn't too sweet at all and had a really great sweet and sour taste- nicely balanced. The meatballs were easy to make, too. Great recipe! Thanks for posting!
