KelBel I love the spicy, warmth to this blend. I grated the cinnamon, nutmeg and ginger and crushed & ground the cardamon pods. I love the flavour that you get from using fresh ground spices. I'll be using this spice blend alot. Thank you for sharing.

Delicious 'warm' spice blend which I look forward to using in my baking. For today, I made up a small batch of roasted nuts using these spices, coating the nuts first lightly is some beaten egg white, then the spices and roasting in the oven till dry. Very flavourful (and if you're doing nuts, it may be nice to throw in a smidgin of cayenne or chili powder to provide a bit of contrast).

Kelbel, this seasoning blend is fantastic. I've used it in Chai Latte, a pumpkin pie and then an apple pie. I think I'm going to make several batches to give as gifts for Christmas. Thanks so much for the great idea!!!
