Recipe #17174 | 20 min | 10 min prep | add private note

By: ThatJodiGirl
Jan 14, 2002

A friend of mine gave me this copycat recipe for McDonalds sweet and sour sauce. It is pretty close to the real thing.

3/4 cup (change servings and units)

Ingredients

Directions

  1. 1
Combine all ingredients except water in a food processor or blender and puree until the mixture is smooth.
  2. 2
Pour mixture into a small saucepan over medium heat.
  3. 3
Add water, stir and bring mixture to a boil.
  4. 4
Allow it to boil for five minutes, stirring often.
  5. 5
When the sauce has thickened, remove it from the heat and let it cool.
  6. 6
Store sauce in a covered container in the refrigerator.
