Excellent sweet bread!!! Love that it used natural sweeteners or juice and honey. Made mine in the bread machine with perfect results. THANKS for sharing! I will put this in the favorites folder

I made this recipe as written but substituted fresh milk instead of dried. It worked perfectly but I will note that I used an expensive bread flour which was 'ideal' for sweet breads. It really worked because my husband and my picky MIL went nuts over this bread. A winner!

I have loved King's Hawaiian bread my entire life, and I've never tried making it at home. Wow, is this recipe a winner. My only modification to the recipe was to use 2 tablespoons of milk, not dried milk. The loaf turned out soft and delicious. It's lightly sweet and good enough to eat without any toppings. I used it to make baked French toast and it was divine. Thank you for sharing!

A very awesome recipe! Love the flavor. Only change I made was I used 2Tbs. of regular milk in place of the dry milk. I also used the dough cycle on my bread machine and than put in a glass loaf dish and let the dough rise about 30 to 40 minutes(just when it was above rim of loaf dish) and baked it at 350' til golden brown (25min. in my oven) I will be making this again. I shared this recipe with all our friends and they really enjoyed it too. Thanks so much for sharing the recipe!!
