By: Dave C
Feb 1, 2001

I got this recipe about 10 years ago from a tv chef. I like to add the meatballs to my Homemade Pasta sauce.

SERVES 12 , 120 meatballs (change servings and units)

Ingredients

Directions

  1. 1
    Preheat oven to 375°F.
  2. 2
Break up bread, soak in water and squeeze out.
  3. 3
In a large bowl mix all above ingredients well.
  4. 4
On a large flat cookie tray.
  5. 5
From above ingredients, roll out dollar size meat balls.
  6. 6
Be sure not to touch each other.
  7. 7
Place in oven and cook for 25 minutes per tray, turning meat balls half way.
  8. 8
Place on paper towel to cool.
  9. 9
    Makes about 120 balls.
  10. 10
Place cooled meatballs in air tight zip lock bags and freeze.

Sounds great, but doesn't go far enough. An accomanying sauce would make this perfect.

EDITED REVIEW: Our family likes food with a lot of "kick" and these tasted a lot like sauted onions. If you don't like alot of spice in your food, these might be for you. Thanks for posting! I am posting ony comments so as not to lower your ratings on this reviews. I think my comments are subjective upon my developted palette for spices. Thank you for submitting!
