This is quick and very tasty! The proscuitto gives the fish a totally different flavor. It is a slight variation on a Healthy Appetite recipe.

SERVES 2 (change servings and units)

Ingredients

Directions

  1. 1
Grind pepper over fish and wrap each piece in 2 slices of prosciutto.
  2. 2
Spray a large nonstick skillet with cooking spray. Heat to medium-high heat. Add fish fillets and cook for 3-4 minutes per side, until prosciutto is crisping and fish is starting to brown. You may need to turn the heat down to medium after a few minutes. Note: adjust cooking time if using another type of fish that is thicker than tilapia.

Very good and easy to make. I followed the recipe exactly as written. This was a nice change from our regular fish recipe.

I used another white fish, I don't remember the name. I cooked it in the oven with the prosciutto. I didn't use pepper. It's great and tasty. Thanks Maito

We used flounder for this recipe and broiled it rather than pan saute' it. The flavor of the prosciutto permeates throughout the fish and is simply wonderful. We both agreed to a splash of lemon juice for enhanced flavor once served and Buddha, who normally does not care for ham, raved over this dish. It's also great that there is no added salt. Just 3 simple ingredients, for one fantastic fish dish. Thanks so much for posting.
