Taken off a website, don't have the reference. An excellent hummus, the only one I make anymore. You really need a blender or food processor to get the consistency right. 1/4 cup = 1 point ww.

SERVES 6 (change servings and units)

Ingredients

Directions

  1. 1
Combine everything in blender or food processor and process until smooth.
  2. 2
The blender gives the best result.
  3. 3
If you need more liquid to make a nice consistency, add a bit more yogurt.
  4. 4
    Chill.
  5. 5
Serve with pitas or as a veggie dip.

Yum! This runs a REALLY close second to traditional tahini hummus. I love that it is so healthy and frugal. This is my new standby recipe. I definitely reccomend the use of fresh parsley- and the addition of cumin, which I think all hummus needs!! (and some hot pepper!)

Not bad. I felt it needed a little extra kick though. I'd add more paprika or garlic next time.

Fabulous - I used 1/2 c. yoghurt and no parsley and it was still outstanding. Will definitely make again soon.
