I have not tried this jam. I'm posting this for safe keeping. I found this recipe in Parents magazine. This isn't your grandma's recipe-our jam can be made in one pot in half an hour.

SERVES 6 -8 , 4 1/2 pints (change servings and units)

Ingredients

Directions

  1. 1
Coarsely crush the blueberries in a 4-quart pot using a potato masher. Stir in the sugar. Bring mixture to a rolling boil, stirring constantly to dissolve the sugar. Stir in pectin and return to a boil. Boil for 1 more minute, stirring constantly.
  2. 2
Remove from heat. Stir in the lemon juice and transfer jam to glass jelly jars. Cover and chill for at least 2 hours or as long as 1 month. Stir before serving.
