This made a great addition to the Christmas cookie trays this year. It was sooo easy and quick to make. I used all pecans. The nuts were so flavorful. No one noticed the "kick" to the nuts until they were on the next mouthful.
Everyone loved them! For the people that don't like spicy or hot foods I omitted the cayenne and the results were just as good. I ended up making 4 batches. Word of warning... I forgot to butter the pan once and had a heck of a time trying to get the nuts off of the aluminum foil. Thank you for sharing!!this recipe!

These nuts are really special! They were so easy to make, but the kick from the cayenne was on the cutting edge. It is a surprise to be eating about 3 nuts and then the cayenne kicks in. Truly a wonderful treat. Thanks for sharing this recipe.
