I add 1c of chopped nuts to this, and have used it (so far) to top banana bread and pumpkin zucchini muffins. It's easy to throw together, and makes the above recipes taste much better than usual. Thanks for posting, 2969!

I made this to top my apple cinnamon muffins. I was afraid the streusel might taste bad and ruin all my muffins but I decided to use it anyways. Boy am I glad I did! If anything, the streusel MADE the muffins. I added a few walnuts to add some extra crunch. I also wasn't sure if the streusel would come out crunchy but it definitely was and it stayed like that for a few days. The recipe makes A LOT. After I loaded up all 12 of my muffins with it, I still had 1/3 of it left.

This is a really great topping! I used it on a banana bread and I am very pleased with it. I had some leftover so I will use it for a small tart! Thank you for a great recipe!
Always, Jelly
