Ingredients

Directions

  1. 1
Measure strawberries and place in large saucepan. (There should be about 1 3/4 cups.) Peel and pit about 2 1/2 pounds fully ripe peaches. Crush thoroughly. Add enough peaches (about 2 1/4 cups) to strawberries to make 4 cups fruit.
  2. 2
    Measure sugar and set aside.
  3. 3
Place saucepan holding fruit over high heat. Add fruit pectin and stir until mixture comes to a hard boil. At once stir in sugar.
  4. 4
Bring to a full rolling boil and boil hard, one minute, stirring constantly. Remove from heat, skim and ladle quickly into hot sterilized glasses. Process for 10 mins in hot water bath. Makes 8 (6 oz.) glasses.

Very good recipe I made today. I think it'll taste better once it is chilled, or sits a while for the flavors to blend. Very easy to make.

OMG!!! Decadence in a jar. This is the first time I have "blended" strawberries and peaches in a jam. The results are wonderful. I planned on giving this as gifts, but I think now I'll either keep it for myself or have to charge for a jar of this. I followed the recipe as closely as I could as I ran a bit short on peaches and added a few extra strawberries...but other than that, I followed the recipe. I ended up with 7 half pints. Easy to make and directions were easy to follow. Thanks for posting this one!!! I'll be adding this one to my list of jams that I "have" to make every year.
