By: ellie_
Aug 10, 2006

Recipe source: Backyard Living

5 cups (change servings and units)

Ingredients

Directions

  1. 1
In a blender combine first 4 ingredients (watermelon - lemon juice) and blend until smooth.
  2. 2
Gradually add ice cubes and blend on high until slushy, using as many ice cubes to achieve the amount of slushyness you desire.
  3. 3
*If you use very few or no ice cubes this will be a refreshing drink and not a slush- if you do so, you may want to decrease amount of lemon juice.
  4. 4
Pour into chilled glasses to serve immediately.

I made the full amount of this recipe and wish I would have made more. This is so yummy and refreshing. The only change I made was to use Splenda in place of the sugar. What a great recipe for hot summer days after working!~ Made for PRMR.

Yummy! I halved the recipe. When I went to use the strawberries, they were bad, and I only bought them 2 days before! Wah! So I used frozen strawberries. I had frozen watermelon too, so used it. I left out the ice and added a little soda water. Delicious! thank you Ellie!
