So delish and simple! I used Splenda and Truvia for the sweetener to cut the sugar, but otherwise followed the plan. I whipped the cream maybe a little too long - I ended up with a pretty stiff mixture (though it still tasted fabulous). But I just sliced up the berries and made a parfait out of it. So it's versatile too. Thanks for posting!

A very elegant and romantic dessert, yet incredibly fast and simple to prepare. I added 2-3 Tbsp of powdered sugar, enough for just the most subtle hint of sweetness. I used neufchatel in place of the cream cheese (basically the same flavor, but 1/3 less fat) and subbed fat-free half and half for 1/3 of the whipping cream as well, yet it was still thick and rich. Dh had his over a slice of chocolate cake...chocolate, strawberries, and Devonshire Cream ~ he was in heaven! Thanks so much for posting!
