This was a fun activity for my DD & I but I agree with Nyte. This is quite intricate & it's really hard to get the foil to mould around the cutters without ripping. I too used spray oil & some leftover Barley sugar I had in the cupboard. My results weren't very pretty but 2YO DD doesn't know any different so she had a blast.

I had a bit of difficulty with this. I suggest using this with cookies cutters that do not have corners. My foil would not like the cutters without bunching or tearing. I used cooking spray instead of oil and that worked out fine. My other problem was in the end result the colors kind of blended making it muddy appearing. Also it took less than 10 minutes to melt the candies. I think it would work better using a single color in each cutter. despite the ugly appearance they were good. I used Jolly Ranchers for this.
