Lovely fresh flavoured salad! loved the red onion and parmesan cheese. I added halved cherry tomatoes and roasted walnuts. We particularly liked the plain vinegar and oil dressing which finished it perfectly. Thanks for posting, I will be making it again.

This is an excellent salad that lets the flavor of the spinach shine through. I didn't have croutons on hand and just omitted them. I also added a few halved grape tomatoes. The salad was light, fresh and wonderful next to a heavy main dish of Emeril's Sausage Macaroni and Cheese.

This is such an elegant, yet simple salad. I used baby spinach and added some grape tomatoes. The onions add such a nice flavor and so does the parmesan cheese. This is a keeper. Thanks!

I was hoping this was a chilled salad when I clicked on the name...I adore spinach salads but never cared for the hot bacon dressing. I loved this recipe, I added some micned garlic and cubed chicken breast and served this with garlic taost and it was fantastic. Thank you!
