I can just see those popeye muscles bulging if you have this as your regular veggie (and of course do a bit of exercise!)

SERVES 4 (change servings and units)

Ingredients

Directions

    Stir fry the spinach in half the butter until it is just limp, drain and keep warm.
  2. 2
    Add remaining butter to saucepan and the flour, stir until smooth, keep stirring& add the milk, add garlic and cook until it thickens about 5 minutes.
  3. 3
    Season with salt& pepper.
  4. 4
    Stir in the spinach.
  5. 5
    Place in ovenproof casserole, sprinkle with cheese and brown under the broiler 8-10 minutes.

    Mwwf,mwwfffh...Oh, excuse me. My mouth was full of this AMAZINGLY DELICIOUS spinach dish. Bergy, this is awesome as is - no recipe changes. It's quick, easy, delicious, and everyone in our house loves it - even the 3 year old. If DH and I ever divorce, it will be over who gets the last helping of this!

    Bergy, this is lovely recipe. Easy to prepare, and great flavor. I prepared it as you directed with no substitutions. We enjoyed this recipe so much, thanks for sharing.

    Popeye and Bergy certainly know what they are talking about, this spinach rocks! I didn't change a thing! It was so quick and easy to make, I can see myself making this as a quick meal anytime. The kids weren't too crazy about the strong taste of the Parmesan, I think next time I'll try a mix of Parmesan and Mozzerella. Great one, Bergy!
