This is by far the best spin/art recipe I have ever made. I tweaked it by adding a poblano and jalapeno. If you bring to the super bowl with frito scoops, It will NOT be around by halftime

This recipe was really missing something for me. I had increased the garlic and used marinated artichoke hearts to increase the flavor, but it still wasn't quite what I wanted. I don't know if more Tabasco, the addition of some cayenne, more onions, or subbing a pepper jack cheese might make the difference. I know that it needed more salt for my tastes. Several people enjoyed it at a Super Bowl party, but it wasn't the top recipe that I had hoped for.

I've never been to Houston's - so I can't do a comparison - but even my grandson (who hates spinach) loved this dip! I used fresh spinach & garlic, low fat sour cream & monterey jack cheese and chopped a small onion - then served with "scoops" & "crispers". Thanx Elmo!

DELICIOUS!!! Probably the best spinach-artichoke dip I have made yet. It is exactly like Houston's which is my hubby's and I's favorite! I used a can of artichoke bottoms b/c the leaves are a nuisance sometimes. I used low fat sour cream and frozen spinach - worked great! Thanks again for the PERFECT dip!
