Spicy-Sweet Deviled Eggs

I'm always looking for a different recipe for Deviled Eggs and this one looks wonderful! Found this in Southern Living, September 2004. It is very Caribbean tasting.

SERVES 10 -12 (change servings and units)

Ingredients

Directions

    Cut eggs in half lengthwise; carefully remove yolks.
  2. 2
    Mash yolks; stir in mayonnaise, chutney, and red pepper until well blended.
  3. 3
    Spoon or pipe yolk mixture evenly into egg white halves.
  4. 4
    Sprinkle evenly with desired amount of salt.
  5. 5
    Garnish, if desired with either chives or paprika or both.
  6. 6
    Chill until ready to serve.

Great twist on deviled eggs! My mango chutney was pretty sweet, so I used the lower amount and increased the red pepper to balance it out. Thanks for sharing!
