It took about 25 minutes for mine to reach 234. I used 1/2 cup of pumpkin. Maybe 1/2 of a can would result in a more pumpkin taste, mine taste more like butterscotch.

this is also my recipe for pumpkin fudge, yum. the only difference is that my recipe calls for 1/2 cup canned pumpkin but otherwise it is the same and amazing. One of our friends would crawl from Tennesse for this fudge and we live in PA. A wonderful holiday fudge. Great for Thanksgiving dessert trays.

Good fudge! I used 1/2 cup of canned pumpkin and chopped pecans instead of almonds. My grandpa loved it!

1/2 of what size can? I used the large one. 10 minutes to reach 234? Took mine almost an hour. Pour? Once everything was mixed, it was one large ball. Texture is that of firm nougat and tastes like butterscotch, not pumpkin.
