I wish I would have looked on the box of instant rice to see the ratio of rice to water. Mine was 2:2 rather than 2:1 as the recipe read. It therefore was dry, even with the moisture from the tomatoes and onions. I added more water, but it still didn't produce a good rice. Make sure to check your ratio and maybe you'll have better luck than me!

I loved this rice! I did cheat and use regular rice with the appropriate amount of water, but otherwise followed the ingredients list. I think that next time I will skip the sugar. Even so, delicious!!
