Everyone I know loves these cookies. I took a batch to a party once and disappeared within 30 min. with people asking for more. I especially like the cinnamon and sugar. I must admit, it is not my creation; I got it from the Pillsbury Complete Book of Baking.

4 dozen cookies (change servings and units)

Delicious! Truly, wonderfully delicious. I HATE greasy cookies, and as this recipe had half the amount of butter of all the other ones I looked at, I knew it was going to be a winner. Sure enough, the cookies came out tender and chewy with plenty of buttery flavor, but not at all greasy. I also put a teaspoon of cinnamon into the batter to help it stand on its own, but the cinnamon sugar crust is just the icing on a very nice cake. Thanks a lot, Jo.

Easy, quick, and delicious! I added about 1/2 a teaspoon of cinnamon to the dough for a touch of spice. The dough was so easy to work with and I only needed 2 1/2 cups of flour. I also baked them for 7 min. Baking can be a bit of challenge at this altitude, but these turned out great. Thank you Jo!

These cookies are the best snickerdoodles I have ever had. Just beware that if you leave them in too long the bottoms will burn. You may need to take them out before the time posted. Take them out when they still look a bit undercooked and you will have it made. Crisp on the outside and squishy on the inside! Mmmmmm. Thanks for posting!
