I love these cookies! They are slightly crisp on the outside and so soft and tender on the inside. These are my dad's favorite cookies- I made them for him often. This recipe uses both shortening and butter.

LOVE this recipe! The cookies turn out perfectly every time, and they disappear fast around here. My almost-3 year old always begs for "Snickernoodles". I love that they are crisp on the outside but soft and chewy inside. Delish!

Snickerdoodles have been my favorite cookie since the beginning of time. I had thought the recipe in my very old Betty Crocker cookbook was the best, but this one beats it hands down!!

Great snickerdoodle! I use a scoop that is larger than a golf ball, but smaller than a baseball. Baked cookies are 4-5" in diam. Crispy on the outside, soft and wonderful on the inside. If you are looking for the perfect snickerdoodle stop now,,,,you found it.
