Snicker Squares

Recipe #14356 | 30 min | 30 min prep

These taste just like the real thing, but you get the pleasure of making them yourself. I wrap each snicker square in wax paper squares and twist the ends to secure. I suggest cutting smaller squares (about 1") because these are kinda rich.

117 one inch squares (change servings and units)

Ingredients

  • 1/4-1/2 cup butter
  • 12 ounces milk chocolate chips
  • 3 cups salted peanuts
  • 1 bag caramel, unwrapped
  • 1 bag mini marshmallows
  • 2 cups miniature M&M baking bits (found in the baking aisle with the chocolate chips)

Directions

  1. 1
Melt butter and caramels in a large pan over low heat.
  2. 2
Remove from heat and add chocolate chips and marshmallows and stir until melted.
  3. 3
    Add peanuts and mix.
  4. 4
Turn into a buttered 9"x13" pan.
  5. 5
Sprinkle top with m&m baking bits and press to secure.
  6. 6
Let cool 1-2 hours and cut into squares.

Yummy! A big hit in the house~ will make again! I used equal sized bags 10-12 oz, and 1/2 C butter, this helped for a smooth melt. Thanks Jessica!

I had to of done something wrong to this recipe for I LOVED every ingredient in this recipe but it didn't seem to cook up right. I could have messed up on the right amounts of caramels and marshmallows for the exact ounces, weight, etc were not listed. I guessed. =( Jessica, would you please let me know how much of these 2 ingredients? I definitely would love to make these for the holiday!=)
