This is the most perfect recipe for ribs. You can't get them in a restaurant better than this! The meat falls off the bone as you take them out of the crock!

SERVES 4 -6 (change servings and units)

Ingredients

Directions

  1. 1
Do not pre-heat the slow cooker.
  2. 2
Dice up the onion, add to crock pot.

  5. 5
Cook on low setting for 8-10 hours.

The ease, the low cost of the ingredients, and the great flavour make this recipe a definite keeper! I did what other reviews suggested and used reserved sauce. Wonderful!!!

The ONLY way to cook fall apart ribs. This is the simplest but best recipe. I used boneless pork ribs and "Famous Dave's Rich & Sassy BBQ Sauce". Sauce was a little watery in pot so I scooped them out and used reserved sauce (that I heated) for dipping. This is the way to GO! Thanks for the recipe and the idea for cooking ribs using a crock pot!!!!!

Very tender and delicious! I think next time I will add the bbq sauce the last hour of cooking though, and drain some of the liquid off first. I found the sauce to be too watery for my tastes, but I will definately make this again! Even my hubby who normally doesn't like ribs thought they were great! Thanks for posting a great recipe!

I'm not a big pork fan, but these looked to be so tender that I just had to try them. I can't have Masterpiece sauce because of the high sodium content, so I substituted homemade "Smoky Sauce for Ribs" and I posted the sauce recipe today.
