This was good!! My chicken was so tender and juicy. I couldn't taste the garlic I think the paprika overpowered it. I did add 1/2 cup of water so that I would have juices for gravy. As it turned out, I didn't need to add the water. With the leftovers the next day, I mixed them with a can of Cream of Chicken soup, half and half, some mushrooms and some sour cream. It was really good!! I will make this again but use less paprika I think and maybe a little bit more garlic. Thanks for sharing your recipe. Made for PAC Spring '08.

Made for PAC Spring 08 I had to reduce this recipe quite a bit due to a smaller family size. The chicken was still tender. I think I may have cooked it a bit long (not the recipe's fault). The family thought it was pretty good and we would eat it again. Thanks for the recipe!

Wow, sowee! This is wonderful, incredibly tender, moist, chicken that is not only easy, but so flavorable I would doubt if you could find anything tastier or easy; not even going to the local chicken take-out. Busy life up here on the farm, vegetables being planted, calves being born, which brings the days longer. but alas; a lot less time to prepare meals. I followed this exactly, except; I used chicken drumsticks instead of thighs, and the time was right on for me. I used 4 drumsticks, and used a ziploc bag to mix up the seasonings, and put thinly sliced onions with garlic on top. I also want to add, I did not add any broth, water, or any liquid to the crockpot and I was left with about 4 tablespoons of self made juices on the bottom. I think (for me); I see no need for any addition of juice as it makes it own. This is really, really, nice and I will use this again. There are so many uses, for dinner, or to put in some chicken to cook without watching for chicken salad the next day, or anything that requires cooked chicken in the recipe. Thank you, Malibu, this will keep us going for a long time. Made for PAC April 2008.

My family really enjoyed this. It was easy to prepare. I cooked it for 6 hours. I will make this again because the flavor is really good. I think next I will add a little bit of chicken broth on the bottom. The bottom of the crock pot was very dry after 6 hours. The chicken wasn't totally dry but the little moisture will add in the chicken not burning or becoming to dry. The taste is outstanding. This recipe would work well in the oven
