Wow! I can't believe I actually found this recipe again! It is everyone's favorite summer drink here.DeLICIOUS!! Thank you Rhonda and RecipeZaar! You never let me down!

Very refreshing. I halved the recipe (except for the gin.. I used the full amount specified-16 ounces).. and used NO sugar or water. To me it seemed like this recipe would be too sweet. With 1/2 cup of sugar and the brandy is sweet along with grenadine.. that's all that is is sugar, then if you were topping it off with soda.. wow.. it just seemed like it would have been too sweet for me. Since I didn't have lemon gin I added 1/3 cup of fresh lemon juice. After adding mixture to my glass I topped it off with plain seltzer water. Great summer cocktail. It was very tasty. Thanks for the idea.
