Ingredients
- 95 g custard powder
- 1 liter whole milk
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla essence
Directions

In a small bowl, combine the custard powder and sugar.2
Stir just enough milk into the mixture to make a thin paste.3
Add the vanilla essence to the paste, stir.4
Place the remainder of the milk in a saucepan and bring to a boil.5
Turn the heat down on the saucepan to low.6
Slowly pour the paste into the saucepan, stirring frequently.7
Keeping the saucepan on low, constantly stir the mixture until it reaches your desired thickness (approx 1 min).
