Shrimp and Corn Chowder

This is a recipe that I have modified. It is a simple and delicious soup to make. It is one of my families favorites. Enjoy!

SERVES 4 (change servings and units)

Ingredients

Directions

    Heat oil over medium-high heat in large saucepan.

    Add onion and red pepper: cook over medium heat 5 minutes or until tender.
  3. 3
    Add 1/2 and 1/2, corn, and bouillon.
  4. 4
    Bring to a boil; reduce heat to low.
  5. 5
    Stirring frequently, for 15 minutes or until heated through.
  6. 6
    Stir in shrimp and basil; cook for 3 minutes.

    This is a great soup for a cold AZ day. That never happens, but this soup can happen! It is GREAT! Very light and delicious!
