Simple and delicious salmon with an asian flair. Works on the grill, too. Prep time is marinating time.

SERVES 4 (change servings and units)

Ingredients

Directions

  1. 1
In a mixing bowl, whisk together soy sauce, sherry, rice vinegar, sesame oil, sugar, and red pepper flakes.
  2. 2
Place salmon in a glass baking dish and pour soy sauce mixture over salmon. Cover, and chill for at least 2 hours, turning once halfway through.
  3. 3
Once salmon has chilled, place on a heated broiler pan and broil 4" from the heat (or can use the grill) for about 5 minutes on each side, or until the fish is cooked through.
  4. 4
Sprinkle with toasted sesame seeds and chopped green onion just before serving.

Very good! I used more red pepper because we like things spicy and broiled a bit longer because the fillet was pretty thick. Served with sesame green beans and rice. I will definitely make this again!

Lovely. I made exactly as written, just scaling the recipe down to 1 serving. This was delicious and I will definitely repeat.

Delicious! I added extra red pepper flakes, but that's only because we like things a bit on the spicy side. Great recipe--thanks for sharing!

Excellent! I used orange juice in place of the sherry and only half of the sesame seeds. This cooked up very nicely on the George Forman grill.
