These were good! I used Cardamom in it. They were good with just butter on them as well as with syrup. These were easy to make. I will be making these again and try them with fresh fruit. Thanks for sharing your recipe.

My 5-year old daughter and I made these for brunch and ate them with a variety of spreads (mostly jams) and they were very good. I thought they had enough sweetness and mild flavor that they could be dusted with powdered sugar and eaten alone.

I have had these marked to make for quite some time. I finally got around to making and enjoying these wonderful waffles. Instead of sour cream, I used homemade yogurt. They make the perfect amount for 2 and will go into my Then There Were 2 Cookbook. They do require slightly longer cooking time than the waffles I am use to making. I topped them off with lingonberry spread for a delicious breakfast treat.

These are awesome! I was out of milk so this recipe was perfect. I used vanilla yogurt instead of sour cream! Double yum-mo. There was a tiny bit of sticking, just a little, but was easily remedied with a spatula. Love these waffles!!!!
