Tastes exactly like my mom's recipe which we had every Christmas and other special occasions. Sometimes she would add ham, YUM. I am so happy to now have the recipe to enjoy for future use. Thank you!

MMM...I am eating little bites of this RIGHT NOW as I wait for my dinner guest to get here. It is sooo good! Definitely one to add to the rotation.

I ended up cooking these for about 75 or 80 minutes but my casserole was deep and round. DELICIOUS! I topped with cheese the last 5 minutes because we are cheese lovers. Don't forget to salt each layer for a really flavorful dish. Went great with a pork roast.
