Savory Onion Potatoes

These have been a family favorite for years and are so simple to prepare.

SERVES 6 (change servings and units)

Ingredients

    Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

    Scrub potatoes, do not peel.
  3. 3
    Cut into bite-sized cubes.
  4. 4
    Rinse in cold water and place in gallon size zip-lock bag.
  5. 5
    Add olive oil, soup mix, and cheese.
  6. 6
    Close bag and seal.
  7. 7
    Mix well until potatoes are evenly coated.
  8. 8
    Remove from bag and place in roasting pan and spread out evenly.
  9. 9
    Bake 1 hour or until potatoes are tender.

These are wonderful.. We also halved the recipe and for a familly of 4 this works great. Yes, they do stick to the pan, so I think next time I will line the cookie sheet with foil. Thanks for posting! Another great recipe added to our rotation.

    Delicious potatoes! I cut the recipe in half and roasted the potatoes on parchment paper. Perfect flavored potatoes! Thank you Ann!!

    Terrific ! I used only 1 enveloppe of Onion Soup mix instead of 2. We gobled the whole thing up in no time. I did find that the potatoes stuck to the pan, so the next time I will use a cookie sheet instead.
