No baking necessary and always a big hit!! My niece made these last year for the holidays and I thought they were adorable.

32 cookies (change servings and units)

Ingredients

Directions

  1. 1
In a heavy saucepan over low heat, melt white chocolate, stirring occasionally.
  2. 2
Dip one end of each cookie into melted chocolate.
  3. 3
    Place on wire racks.
  4. 4
For santa's hat, sprinkle red sugar on top part of chocolate.
  5. 5
Press one vanilla chip off-center on hat for pom-pom, let stand until set. Note: you can also use a mini marshmallow cut in half for the pom-pom.
  6. 6
Dip other end of each cookie into melted chocolate for beard, leaving center of cookie uncovered.
  7. 7
    Place on wire racks.
  8. 8
With a dab of melted chocolate, attach semisweet chips for eyes and a red-hot, or red mini M&M's, for nose.
  9. 9
Place on waxed paper until chocolate sets.

These are adorable, and I've made them the past 2 Christmas seasons for my cookie baskets. This recipe post has now been printed and filed into my "tried & true" personal recipe book. Thanks for the post!

I made these last year for the holidays. They were a nice addition to my cookie trays. Everyone commented on how cute they were! Very time consuming, but worth it....they look good and taste great! Thank you for posting. 8-)

These were so much fun to make! I could tell the first cookies I made from the last ones because I started getting better at it as I went along.lol. For the red colored sugar, I used Colored Sugar. One less "ingredient" to buy! Also I used vanilla almound bark squares instead of the white chocolate baking squares because it cost alot less. (melted it in the microwave.)

Fun and easy, I had a great time making these for a family party. I found it difficult to attach the eyes and nose so I used icing from a tube instead. An instant family favorite! Thanks!
