I didnt try this but My recipe looks identical except for I add either 1/4 tsp oil of peppermint or 1 tsp peppermint extract (or flavoring of your choice) I agree with gators mom and say too much flavoring. Again mine is the same with half the flavoring and it is phenomenal. Thanks

My husband and I made this and were not happy with the results. I think there is too much flavouring added. And it just wasn't what we expected. It's not the first time I've made candy, so that isn't it. I wouldn't make this again.
