I used a little less salt and sage this time and felt the sausage was well seasoned. We really liked this. Thanks for sharing.

This is actually my 2nd review of this sausage. Here is the first: Very, very good. DH and I really enjoyed this. Just wish I had been at BarbC's resort when I dined on it, instead of my little kitchen!! Update: I now keep these sausage patties in my freezer all the time. Being able to control the seasonings is a definite plus. I add a little bit of crushed red pepper for a little bit of heat. Of course I like to brag that I make my own sausage now!

I felt this was too salty, and needed something, was kinda plain. Buddha's was the best of the four recipe's on here I tried (as is). But After I added 1 Tsp Maple syrup, and 1/4 tsp Grnd Ginger, we were there! Oh, and some Crushed red pepper, and a pinch of Grnd clove did it just right!

This is a lovely simple recipe for breakfast sausage. Love the sage flavor. Will kick it up just a bit next time with some red pepper flakes.
