Great do ahead ribs. Steam on broiler pan in slow oven, then grill at serving time. These are the most tender and delicious ribs you will ever eat.

SERVES 4 -6 (change servings and units)

Ingredients

  • 2 lbs pork baby back ribs

Rub

BBQ Sauce

Directions

  1. 1
Fill the bottom of a broiler pan about half full of water.

Mix rub ingredients together and generously rub into both sides of ribs.
  3. 3
Place ribs on top section of broiler pan.

Cover with foil and fold edges under to seal in steam as they cook.
  5. 5
Bake in 300° oven for 2 hours.
  6. 6
Remove foil carefully as steam is very hot.
  7. 7
    Refrigerate ribs until needed.

Combine all ingredients for barbecue sauce.
  9. 9
Place ribs on grill and brush generously with sauce.

Excellent all around! Easy to follow steps and superb flavor. This is a sweet sauce and tickled our fancies just right. Next time I might try a little liquid smoke for more of a hickory flavor. I had almost 5 lbs. of ribs, so doubled all ingredients. I was so worried about ruining them, but very happy about choosing this recipe. Thanks Marie!

My DH had sauce dripping from his chin and said they were so good he didn't care! This is going into my repeat files so I can remember to have it again before the weather gets cool. May make for Labor Day weekend! Superb ribs right here everyone! Alexa
