Mmmmm hot rich cocoa. This was the perfected evening treat. Made using Spenda and a very good quality dark cocoa. This has been tucked into my favorites book. Thanks so much for the post.

This was wonderful treat for a cool afternoon. I've always made this in a pot on the stove - duh! never thought to just use the microwave. I cut back to 4 tsps of sugar and cocoa, wanting to make a smaller amount , but as this is very rich I still added over a cup of milk. I added a little water to the dry ingredients then microwaved about 1 minute to avoid any raw cocoa flavor, then added in the milk and heated it the rest of the way. Yum! Perfect hot cocoa! I don't know why I don't make my own hot cocoa more often, but after making this one I'm sure I will. I used Special Dark Blend cocoa and it made a very rich treat. Made for I Recommend.

This lives up to it's name - rich & indulgent. Used Hershey's 'special dark' cocoa - personal preference, and this was so good, and super easy.
