Rhubarb is great because it is sweet and tart. it's really different from other kinds of pies.

SERVES 6 -8 (change servings and units)

Ingredients

Directions

    mix sugar, flour, nutmeg, and salt.

    add mixture to the beaten eggs.
  3. 3
    beat until smooth.
  4. 4
    add sliced rhubarb and stir.
  5. 5
    slice top crust to make a lattice on top.
  6. 6
    fill bottom crust with pie filling.
  7. 7
    place butter on top.
  8. 8
    add lattice top.
  9. 9
    bake at 400 degrees for 50 minutes.

A lovely sweet, tart pie made with some fresh rhubarb my neighbour gave to me!! The filling is creamy and delicious!
