Red Lentils

A very simple, yet filling and satisfying Lentil dish. I made this in my 6-cup Rice Cooker, so if you are not using one, the recipe will be different.

SERVES 4 (change servings and units)

Ingredients

  • 1 cup lentils (uncooked)
  • 3 cups water
  • 2 cups spaghetti sauce
  • salt (to taste)

Directions

  1. 1
    Add lentils, water and salt to rice cooker and press cook.
  2. 2
    Cook for 20 minutes or until lentils are soft.
  3. 3
    Add sauce and cook for 10 minutes on warm cook setting to consistency.
