Quicker Than Starbucks Vegan Iced Latte

Recipe #132265 | 1 min | 1 min prep | add private note

I realized I could make my own coffee drinks at home for near pennies. I only like 'em cold and not too strong... that is, I like some coffee with my milk. (: I usually use leftover coffee but you can start from fresh hot stuff if need be. Feel free to add extracts or vary the proportions to taste.

SERVES 1 , 1 cheap coffee (change servings and units)

Ingredients

Directions

  1. 1
Pour it all in a glass.
  2. 2
Add sugar or vanilla if you feel like it.
  3. 3
Let the ice work its magic and drink up -- then let the coffee work its magic.

Yum. I had some chocolate rice milk that I bought because it was on such good sale (I can never resist a bargain!) but I wasn't sure what to use it in. This worked out well. I needed to add quite a bit of splenda, but I like things sweet. A yummy coffee drink. Thanks.

This is pretty good! I was looking for a recipe similar to the soy caffe latte I get at starbucks, but although this one was different, it still tasted great. I used an "espresso" Espresso Without a Machine Using a Single Serve Coffee Maker for the coffee and just regular soy milk (didn't have chocolate) and 3 splenda packets to sweeten. Thanks!
