Recipe #327129 | 6 min | 5 min prep | add private note

By: extraordinary machine
Sep 24, 2008

A very simple recipe I whipped up in my dorm room, transforming a bagel into a pizza using common ingredients. The tastes go well together, and it sort of resembles the pizzas served in Moscow.

SERVES 1 , 2 mini-pizzas (change servings and units)

Ingredients

Directions

  1. 1
    Cut bagel in half.
  2. 2
Spread both halves with cream cheese.
  3. 3
Spread tomato sauce over cream cheese.
  4. 4
    Sprinkle Mozzarella cheese over sauce.
  5. 5
    Microwave 30-45 seconds.
  6. 6
(Optional) Sprinkle spices over melted cheese.
  7. 7
    Let cool; enjoy!

Very quick and easy lunch. I used a plain mini Thomas bagel, Hunt's spaghetti/pasta sauce, and a little bit of fresh onion. The cream cheese sweetened the sauce up just the way I like it! I'll be sure to use this mix for homemade pizza from now on. Thanks!

easy quick and delish. Tried it with Panera Breads Asiago Cheese bagel. I used provolone for my cheese (I'm going to try this with Jarlsburg next time) and a good marinara sauce. Thanks for such a great treat.
