I realize why I love pumpkin pie and pumpkin bread is all of the sugar. The banana really adds a lot of natural sweetness.

I cooked and pureed the pumpkin my daughter got at the pumpkin patch today. Froze 4 cups of puree (in 2 cup batches) and had a bit leftover I needed to try to use. This smotthie fit the bill. I used frozen banana, fat free vanilla yogurt, and splenda brown. A nice mild smoothie.
