After undergoing gastric bypass surgery, the need existed for increasing protein in my diet. This is what I cam up with for breakfast. The amount of protein depends upon the protein powder you use. AFter trial and expensive error, the protein powder I found I liked best is Unjury brand, available at www.unjury.com

I gave this 3 stars. I really liked this protein smoothie. I loved the fact it was thin and not thick like other smoothies. You could taste the banana and strawberry. This was the second time I used a protein powder and I used vanilla. There was a bit of a after taste maybe the protein powder or splenda. I will play with this and see what caused the taste. Overall I will have this again for sure. Thanks for posting a good recipe. Christine (internetnut)

It wasn't as watery as I expected. I drank this after a workout and I was full for hours. The one thing I would do is add more strawberries (or use blueberries instead, since I love them.) But in general, this was a delicious, very basic recipe!
