Only desperation would cause somebody to mix Scotch and gin, but Prohibition was a desperate time—and, surprisingly, the results aren't half bad. http://www.prohibitionrepeal.com/history/cocktails.asp

Well it must have been desperate times, LOL. I truly love Scoth and Gin, but not in the same glass I guess. I just had to try it when I saw it in the everyday's a holiday tag.
