My favorite way to make burgers!!! Serve with extra Teriyaki sauce!!

SERVES 4 (change servings and units)

Ingredients

  • 1 lb lean ground beef
  • 1/2 cup diced green bell pepper (or red, or leave out)
  • 1/4 cup Lawry teriyaki marinade with pineapple juice (Lawry's, or other brand)

  • 1 (5 1/4 ounce) can pineapple slices, drained
  • 4 hamburger buns (onion flavored is nice)

Directions

  1. 1
In bowl, combine ground beef, bell pepper and teriyaki. Let stand 10 - 15 minutes.
  2. 2
    Shape into 4 patties.
  3. 3
Grill or broil on both sides to desired doneness.
  4. 4
Add pineapple slices to grill or broiler pan and heat just until browned.
  5. 5
Serve burgers on buns (toasted if you like) topped with pineapple slices with more Teriyaki sauce for dipping if desired.
  6. 6
HINT: For extra teriyaki flavor, brush buns with additional teriyaki.

Great burgers! I used some jerk marinade instead of the marinade listed for great burgers! Made for Zaar world tour 5/Carribean. Thanks for sharing!

so yummy - i used my george forman, and i loved them just as is - of course my boyfriend smothered them in additional teriyaki sauce, but he also insists it's a keeper - so, score 1 for the tough critic

Awesome burger! I made mine with lean ground turkey which has the propensity to easily dry out not the case when you add the peppers and a dose of teriyaki. I used a combination of Soy Vei and KC Masterpiece brand teriyaki sauces and served my burgers with the grilled pineapple and a couple of grilled scallions. Yummy!

mmm lovely flavour! I used Kikkoman teriyaki sauce and had to use an orange sweet pepper which added a lovely sweet flavour. The pinapple gave them a wonderful freshness. I will be making these again, thanks for posting.
