This drink didn't taste as good as I expected, also. It was much too bitter when I made it according to the original recipe. However, I added 2 tablespoons of lime-ade concentrate and 1 packet of equal and blended again and this made the drink more tolerable. With a few changes to the original recipe, it can be refreshing and a nice morning pick-me-up.

Sorry, but this didn't turn out as nice as I'd expected it to. I tried adding 2 more bananas to get a balanced flavor but no luck. I totally dislike this.
