Pineapple Wine Cooler

After the resounding success of Kate's Afternoon Wine Cooler, I decided to enter another w/only a slight variation ... but packed w/the rich, tropical flavor of pineapple. This 1 is truly Chef Kate recipe inspired. After having made her Natilla De Pina (Pineapple Custard) Natilla De Pina (Pineapple Custard) for the 2nd time at DH's request, I used my excess pineapple juice for this new effort & now I'm really hooked on both of them. Enjoy!

SERVES 1 , 1 12 oz cooler (change servings and units)

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup pineapple juice (sweetened)
  • 1/2 cup diet soda (Fresca, Sprite or 7-Up)
  • 1/2 cup white wine (I use Riesling)

Directions

  1. 1
Combine all ingredients in a large glass.
  2. 2
    Enjoy & then make another!

Oooo yum! I love a girly frou frou drink & this certainly fits the bill, tropical & fruity, this is delicious. What a great way to use up a bottle of wine that your not keen on by itself. Thanks Twissis!

This is a good combination. I used ginger ale and Chardonnay. Made for Beverage Tag.

Tasty little beverage. I used 7 UP and a white Zinfandel. Of course I did have to make another, only because I didn't want the rest of the 7 UP to go flat.
