Pie Crust

Recipe #347668 | 20 min | 10 min prep | add private note

By: mspie
Jan 7, 2009

This recipe was included in a family cookbook by our relatives by marriage, the Bilden family.  It is easy to make and surprisingly superior to the crust recipe I always used before.  People love it in all my single-crust pies!

SERVES 1 , 1 crust (change servings and units)

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups flour
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons sugar
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup salad oil
  • 2 tablespoons milk

Directions

  1. 1
    Mix milk into oil.
  2. 2
Mix oil/milk mixture into dry ingredients until all is mixed together.
  3. 3
Pat it out into a pie tin.
  4. 4
Bake at 425 degrees for 10 minutes and cool. .
  5. 5
If latticework is desired, this mixture can be cut to make it. .
